Job Title: Post Doc
Job Location: Lisbon, Portugal or Pittsburgh, USA

IST is seeking a post-doctoral fellow to work in social media analysis and information networkmanagement for 
the reminder of the academic year, until the end of August 2012, contract renewable for next academic year if 
parties agree to do so.Topics of interest include empirical analysis of twitter, facebook andcell phone data. 
The candidate must have a PhD in a relevant fieldincluding experience in analysis of large datasets and a track 
record ofpublications in international conferences. The work will be developed inclose cooperation with faculty 
at CMU and may involve prolonged stays inPittsburgh. Pay is 1500 Euros per month free of tax. 
There is also supportto present work in international venues.
