Prerequisites

This is information for participants who have registered both in the GikiCLEF site and in CLEF.

You should have therefore received a login information, as well as the information that you are allowed in the system as a participant.

You should also have tried to submit something, to crosscheck that you have been granted the right privileges.

Submission procedure

First you have to select the collection and download it (by clicking on Topic set).

The GikiCLEF 2009 collection was made available 15 May 2009 12:00 GMT.

After download, you go back by selecting Main page on the header list.

After you have downloaded it (in all languages or just in one), you have precisely five days to submit the results, but we encourage you to submit at once a dummy submission to check whether the numbering and formatting of the results of your system agrees with the GikiCLEF management system.

To submit, from the Main page you click on Submit runs and then you are able to upload files. You have to select the run number (1, 2 or 3) before submitting. As soon as you submit something, you will be able to see it through that page. Submission invokes validation, so you may receive a number of syntax errors that you are supposed to correct and resubmit.

Clicking on Show details you can see a lot of information as well as all detected errors.

Remeember that all submissions must be in UTF-8.

Results

After submission is closed and assessment has been performed by the organization committee, you will be able to see both the scores and detailed information on the evaluation of each run from the Scores page, also reachable from the Main page.
